These terms are an agreement between you and Kalshi Eye (“we”, “us”) for the website at kalshieye.com, the API and the data files we publish (together, the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use the service for a company, you accept them for that company.
1. Accounts
You need an account to download data. Give us a working email address, keep your password and API keys private, and tell us at support@kalshieye.com if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account unless your plan includes more seats. You must be at least 18.
2. Plans, trials and billing
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and exclude taxes where taxes apply.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from Manage billing on your account page; it ends at the end of the period you have paid for.
- A free trial, where offered, needs a card. You are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. One trial per person and per card. Trial access may be limited, as described on the Pricing page.
- Founding member prices stay the same for as long as the subscription stays active. If it ends, a new subscription is at the price current at that time.
- We may change regular prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The change applies from your next renewal after the notice.
- If a payment fails, we retry it for a short period. If it still fails, the account moves to the free plan.
- Refunds follow our cancellation and refund policy.
3. Download allowances and fair use
Each plan has a monthly download allowance and API limits. Do not share accounts, API keys or signed download links to get around them, scrape the website, or put an unreasonable load on the service. We may slow down or suspend access that does.
4. The data and your license
We record public market data from Kalshi, Polymarket, Limitless, Chainlink and crypto exchanges and publish it as files. Your plan gives you a license to use the data as set out in the data license. We keep all other rights in the data files, their format and the service. Kalshi Eye is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kalshi, Polymarket, Limitless, Chainlink or any exchange.
5. No advice, data as recorded
The data is provided for research. It is not investment, trading, legal or tax advice, and nothing on the service is a recommendation to trade. We work to record complete and accurate data and publish gap checks on the Coverage page, but feeds can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and venues can change or correct their data. Check the data before relying on it.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law or any venue’s rules, to attack or probe our systems, or to resell or redistribute the data except as your license allows.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may add, change or remove datasets and features. If we remove something central to a paid plan, you can cancel and get a pro-rated refund for the unused part of the period.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time by emailing support@kalshieye.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, usually after a warning. When an account closes, the license ends for data you have not already downloaded; data you downloaded under a paid plan stays usable under the license that applied when you downloaded it, unless the account was closed for breaking these terms.
9. Disclaimer
Apart from what these terms say, the service and the data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or completeness, to the extent the law allows.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for trading losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
