Research API for the Kalshi archive. Search the catalog, pull a market preview, and download snapshots or L2 (CSV, Parquet, or JSON).

Just getting started?

  1. Create an API key in the app.
  2. Read markets & windows so tickers make sense.
  3. Call Search catalog, then Create export.

Key principles

  • REST + JSON. Standard verbs, JSON bodies, bearer API keys.
  • Versioned path. Research surface lives under /api/v1. Breaking changes bump the path.
  • Signed downloads. Exports return a short-lived HTTPS URL — you do not stream file bytes through the API.
