Why this archive
An order book only exists as it is now; once it changes, the old book is gone. This archive keeps every Limitless book update, so depth, spreads and liquidity can be studied after the fact.
Reading the files
- One file per market per day, named by the market's slug (ticker and series). Each Limitless message is a full book, stored as one row per price level: apply every row that shares a ts_recv as one snapshot, then discard the previous book.
- An empty book is a single row with a null side.
- The archive holds Limitless order books and market lists; it does not include Limitless trades.
- Timestamps are nanoseconds UTC: ts_recv when we received the message, ts_venue when Limitless sent it.
One Limitless market's book at its last update of the day, in DuckDB (the file name carries the market's slug):
SELECT side, price, size FROM 'kalshieye-data/limitless_l2/date=2026-10-20/series=<slug>/limitless_l2-<slug>-2026-10-20.parquet' QUALIFY ts_recv = max(ts_recv) OVER () ORDER BY side, price DESC;

Recording started on October 15, 2026. Every day since then is in the archive, published the next morning, and the Data coverage page shows how much of every hour was recorded.
Does the archive include Limitless trades?
No. It has every Limitless order book update and the daily list of active markets, but not trades.
Can I try the Limitless data for free?
Yes. Every dataset has a free sample file, no account needed, linked in the table above. A free account downloads every dataset for the free sample days (the 1st of every month from November 2026), and the free Explorer plan downloads the last 30 days of Limitless market lists.
Is Kalshi Eye affiliated with Limitless?
No. Kalshi Eye is independent and not affiliated with Limitless. We record Limitless's public market data ourselves.
